Step Mandrels, Tool Racks, Anvils, and Steel Blocks are Here!

I'm happy to announce that we have have Step Mandrels, Tool Racks, Anvils, and Steel Blocks!

Step Mandrels are a good economic solution to forming short cylinders.  These Step Mandrels will work well for short cylinders, but they won't be as effective as our Cylinder Forms with Reference or Cylinder Forms without Reference for longer cylinders.  The smaller Step Mandrel offers diameters of 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm. The larger Step Mandrel offers diameters of 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, and 10mm.

Our Wooden Tool Rack is engineered to hold 12+ sets of pliers, forceps, or similar tools on the top rack. The front portion can hold tweezers, craft knives, cylinder forms, or anything that fits into a 1/2" or 1/8" hole.

You can loosen the screws on the sides to adjust the angle of the front rack.

A Small Anvil is a very useful tool for 3D Metal Modeling. The flat end can be used to penetrate deep into a model to give support to flatten tabs. The horn end of the anvil can be used for forming cones and curves. The top of the anvil can be used for flattening parts.

A good hunk of steel is an excellent tool for 3D Metal Modeling.

It is useful for...

Pressing parts flat against a hard surface.

Creating cylinders by rolling a cylinder form between the part and the block.

Creating long 90 degree bends by folding over the edge while laying flat or while sitting vertical.

Flattening parts that might have become misshapen using a cylinder form or similar tool.

Creating a work staging area.
